Startups offer equity tied to an exit that statistically never arrives. Both structures create the same pathology: employees optimize for signaling, not building. They hoard information instead of shipping it. They play for the next rung, not the next release.

The community model is worse. Open-source contributors build enormous value and capture none of it. Beta testers provide feedback that shapes products worth billions and receive a thank-you email. The physics is broken: value creation and value capture operate on different planes.

Product.ai is organized as a co-owned enterprise. We are not a traditional C-Corp looking for an exit. We are a stable, profitable company that distributes wealth to the people who create it - every year, in cash, proportional to ownership.
