Why we want this done

The Phase 3 Content briefing is unambiguous: authority dominates substrate sophistication for AI citation visibility. Top 10 domains capture 46% of ChatGPT citations within a topic; sites with 32K+ referring domains are 3.5x more likely to be cited than those with up to 200; Trustpilot / G2 / Capterra profiles → 3x citation rate; FCP <0.4s → 3x citation lift. None of these are substrate-migration variables. A firm with low authority and perfect Markdoc / MCP / SKILL.md substrate will be invisible; a high-authority firm with traditional CMS will dominate. Product.ai today has limited authority infrastructure — Reddit/Quora presence is thin, G2/Capterra profiles are not active, link-velocity is not engineered. The candidate ships the buildout — proves the leverage hypothesis with measured before/after citation data, produces durable infrastructure that compounds for years, and creates the substrate every contrarian-depth essay benefits from.

Scope

  1. Authority audit — current state of Product.ai and SimplyCodes on Reddit, Quora, G2, Capterra, Trustpilot, link-velocity profile (referring domains, anchor text, link recency)
  2. Reddit/Quora — identify 10+ topic communities; produce 50+ thoughtful answers (not promotional — substantive contributions that earn the right to mention Product.ai when relevant)
  3. Review-platform profiles — set up G2, Capterra, Trustpilot profiles for both Product.ai and SimplyCodes; seed initial reviews with real customer outreach (no fake reviews)
  4. FCP optimization — measure current FCP on product.ai and simplycodes.com; ship the optimizations needed to hit <0.4s
  5. Link-velocity strategy — three-month plan with specific outreach targets, content offerings, syndication partnerships
  6. Citation instrumentation — measure baseline citation rate (Profound or equivalent vendor; statistical floor 10 samples per prompt, 7-day rolling, ±5% threshold per Phase 3 axiom F1 and F4)
  7. Document the experiment — before/after where measurable, residual gap-flagged where not yet measurable

What success looks like

  • 50+ Reddit/Quora answers live; quality is genuinely substantive (the team can read them and recognize they would have written them too)
  • G2/Capterra/Trustpilot profiles are active with at least 5 real reviews each (no fake reviews)
  • FCP on product.ai and simplycodes.com under 0.4s on at least the homepage and one key landing page
  • Link-velocity plan is concrete and executable for the next 3 months; at least one new high-authority referring domain lands during the trial
  • Citation baseline is captured with statistical methodology applied; the candidate makes the right caveats
  • Documented learning — what moved, what didn't, what's the next high-leverage layer

Constraints

  • Claude Code or Co-work as primary substrate
  • No fake reviews under any circumstances — review-seeding via real customer outreach only
  • Reddit/Quora answers must be substantive — promotional answers without genuine substance are spam and a fail
  • Statistical methodology applied to citation baseline — minimum 10 samples per prompt, 7-day rolling, ±5% threshold per axiom F1
  • 3-week duration cap; if scope creeps, the candidate negotiates the trade-off explicitly
  • Link-velocity strategy must be executable beyond the trial — not "I made a list of dream partners" but "here are the three relationships I started during the trial"
