SimplyCodes Verification Layer — surface verified-truth physics inside the consumer commerce engine

Take the verification primitives Product.ai uses (verdict states, evidence trace, confidence calibration) and adapt them for SimplyCodes. SimplyCodes already ships a Verification Fleet behind the scenes; the consumer-facing surface today shows a code working or not, but does not show the truth physics underneath. Design and ship a thin verification layer — one to three components — that surfaces the physics without breaking conversion.

Why we want this done

SimplyCodes is the revenue engine. Conversion physics dominates every design decision there. Adding a verification layer naively would tank conversion and would be wrong. Done right, it elevates SimplyCodes from a coupon utility into a verified-deal authority — which is the Trojan horse Product.ai needs to reach a hundred million users with verified-truth physics. The mechanism is the brand bridge. SimplyCodes' customer trust earns the right to talk about verified truth at all; carrying that trust language across into Product.ai web and chat is the brand-entity outcome compounded.

Scope

  1. Audit the current SimplyCodes deal-detail surface — what trust signals exist today, what's implicit, what's missing
  2. Pick one to three additions that improve trust without harming conversion — every addition has to argue against an A/B-equivalent rejection
  3. Ship the strongest one to production behind a feature flag (or a staged rollout if the team doesn't gate that way)
  4. Instrument the conversion delta — does the verification layer move acceptance rate up, down, or flat
  5. Write the rationale doc explaining what the candidate added, what they rejected, and what the data shows

What success looks like

  • One verification component live on SimplyCodes in production
  • Conversion impact measured against a clean baseline window
  • The rationale doc reads like a careful designer who respects conversion physics, not like an academic exercise
  • The component is portable enough that the SimplyCodes browser extension could install it on the same merchant page within a day
  • The brand voice on the new surface matches the rest of SimplyCodes (consumer-warm) AND aligns with Product.ai's verified-truth voice — that bridge is the work

Constraints

  • Claude Code or Co-work as primary substrate
  • The deliverable must respect SimplyCodes conversion physics; a beautiful component that drops conversion is a fail
  • Production deploy gate — feature flag or staged rollout, not a "ship to everyone and hope"
  • Clean handoff to the SimplyCodes engineering team; no orphan code
